Notes from the call: This is a Senior level resource  that is heavy development on the back-end including Database development.  They use DB2 and PostGRES.  Although the client says the type of Relational DB they use doesn't matter; these are the win.  80% is transactional / 20% Reporting.  Also, some Angular experience is required.  Microservices, Struts is needed.  Some 3rd level production support is needed.  AWS is a nice to have.  J2EE.

They had this open to other vendors and shut them down based on the quality.  So, ask if they have been submitted to BMW.  When asked what those candidates were lacking, they said they weren't independent thinkers and not strong enough on the coding side.  We asked for prelim tech questions to ask candidates and waiting on that.

Our client is seeking for a full stack end to end developer to
Design and implement computer systems, software and networks.

Basic job duties may include but are not limited to:
• Design and implement computer systems, software and networks including defining complex system requirements, determining system specifications, processes and working parameters.
• Ensure system hardware and software are compatible and capable of required performance metrics.

Systems Engineering role with focus on independent implementation of functional requirements, as well as error fixes in JAVA/Web and cloud based systems.

Skills/Qualifications:
• Command of multiple modern programming language and expertise working with mainstream scripting languages (mandatory)
• Excellent software engineering skills in: object-oriented design, test driven development, automated unit testing, continuous integration and deployment, etc. (mandatory)
• Deliver solutions that used virtual machines, clouds services (AWS; provider-independent containerized service landscapes) (mandatory)
• Creative problem solving skills
• Ability to understand how business needs translate into software solutions.
• Deep understanding of how to build high-performing software and practical experience with performance analysis and testing
• High energy, a passion for software and ability to work in a highly collaborative agile environment
• Experience with Agile methodology and how it can be customized to fit a project team and achieve organizational goals
• Command in Java 
• Ability to operate efficiently and effectively with minimal oversight.
• Experience with Rest API or other service oriented architecture approaches

Bonus experience:
• Have code on GitHub for personal or public open-source projects (send us links!)
