Description
The Business Intelligence (BI) Architect/Analyst will collaborate with BI team members to support enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture, partnering with key organizational stakeholders in Finance, Operations and Engineering to understand business data and assess organizational needs, solve complex technical problems, and develop/enhance key performance metrics in preparation of system requirements.
Key Responsibilities include (not limited to):
? Develop deep understanding of complex data systems, gather and analyze data derived from these systems and provide insights and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders to drive business decisions.
? Gather and assess business information needs and prepare system requirements.
? Perform analyses, development and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse environment which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
? Design and coordinate a curriculum for coaching and training of team members and business partners in the use of BI tools to enhance data-driven capabilities.
? Development and documenting standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems.
? Research new technology and develop business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications
? Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, Business Analytics/Intelligence, Data Science or other related fields. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
? 9 to 10 years of relevant work experience with large and complex database management systems, business intelligence tools and systems.
? Demonstrated Intermediate to Expert knowledge of SQL.
? Demonstrated Intermediate to Expert knowledge of PowerBI.
? Demonstrated Intermediate to Expert knowledge in Informatica PowerCenter Development/Administration/Migration (version 9/10) and other CRM applications.
? Oracle development with pl/sql, stored procedure and package(version 11g/12c or higher)
? Shell script development on Solaris 11.x, RHEL 7.x
? Effective Data analysis, trouble shooting, and problem solving skills
? Multidimensional data modeling
? Data quality assurance skill
? Motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
? Strong verbal and written communications, team collaboration, time management.
? Demonstrated skills in leadership and training of complex technical subject matter to audience of various level of technical knowledge.
Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency. Emergency duty required of the incumbent includes working in special needs or Red Cross shelters, or performing other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to or threats involving any disaster or threat of disaster, man-made or natural.
