Job Description Summary:
Oracle e-Business Suite Functional Tester who can work on the Test Planning, Preparing, Execution, and Close-out. Must be well versed in all aspects of testing (e.g., analysis, planning, performance, automation, user acceptance) and able to speak to the needs for each. Has broad expertise in the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures, and expertly performs a variety of complex tasks with minimal guidance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Experience analyzing, testing and/or configuring Oracle Federal Financials (R12.2.x) core modules
- Work with technical and functional teams to deliver best-in-class technical testing solutions for the program.
- Create and document test plans, test data, test cases, and automated scripts to ensure functional coverage and quality for APIs, web applications, and client-server applications
- Perform web, API, functional, regression, load, and end-to-end testing – automated and manual as needed.
- Write and modify SQL queries to perform database validations.
- Identify, document and track all software defects to closure.
- Work with team to reduce error rates and perform root cause analysis of errors/trends.
REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years of experience testing Oracle E-Business Suite based applications.
- 3+ years of experience with a relational database system (Oracle, SQL Server, MySql, Postgresql)
- 3+ years of experience working with MicroFocus/HP ALM.
- Experience building configurable & parametrized test automation scripts.
- Experience working with QTP/UFT, SOAPUI/PostMan, Loadrunner/JMeter.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Requires ability to pass background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including able to communicate technical issues in a straightforward and concise manner
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge of DevOps and Agile to utilize automation and run test suites as part of Continuous Integration (CI) environments.
- Working knowledge of Open Source test frameworks or libraries.
- 3+ years of test automation experience and knowledge of VBScript or Java.
- Experience working with HHS, CMS, FDA, NIH, CDC, or comparable large Federal agency.
- Experience with implementation and integration of Prism and Oracle R12.2 using web services
