Application development for Capital Markets (Investment Banks etc) Project scoping, estimations, and planning Highly distributed, highly scalable solutions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent

5+ years and strong experience of designing and building Java/J2EE

Core Java skills are necessary

Web development using open source technologies and frameworks (Hibernate, Spring) RESTful web services Strong foundation in XML Hands on with SQL and experience with RDBMS like Sybase, Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server Good understanding of database concepts, SQL and efficient query writing abilities Developmental experience with IDEs such as Eclipse and other web tools Unix/Linux competence, scripting Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript Knowledge of rich-internet web application development (e.g. Flex, GWT, Ext-JS, AJAX) Experience with Continuous delivery (automated build, test, deploy) Knowledge of Agile practices (Iterations, releases, TDD or BDD, etc.)
