- Design, Plan and integrate applications using Enterprise Websphere MQ and Rabbit MQ
- Configure and Build MQ, RabbitMQ infrastructure using IBM and Pivotal standards.
- Apply MQ, RabbitMQ fix packs and upgrades.
- 24/7 support for MQ and RabbitMQ infrastructure.
- Build automation for configuring day to day activities using Git and Chef
- Enterprise monitoring for both MQ and RabbitMQ using App Dynamics
- To provide support and administration for IBM MQ
- Installation and maintenance IBM MQ, ensuring that all changes are performed professionally and with minimal operational impact.
- Installation & Configuration of MQ and v7.X, 8.X,9.X and publish subscribe configuration.
- Experience in MQ clustering and multi-instance.
- Troubleshoot Infrastructure and Application issues related to MQ. Perform MQ Performance Monitoring and Tuning., Facilitate Migration of MQ.
- Provide infrastructure consulting and support to application development teams.
- MQ Tracing, Cold Restart Procedures.
- Implement security aspects related to MQ (OAM, SSL) Own/Prepare Root Cause Analysis for Major incidents/problems.
- Assist the team in identifying issues and in preparing Root Cause Analysis for Major incidents/problems.
- Experience in Linux, AIX. Experience in Shell scripts and automation.
- Experience in MQSC scripting.
- Must have experience in data exchange and system integration solutions, including JMS/MQ, Web Services, RESTful Services,
- Broad knowledge of Security protocols TLS/SSL and authentication.
Daily Job Duties:
- Maintain, manage, and provide support for all Event Bus associated issues/requests
- Work with Flux and team in migrating the existing V1 platform to Flux version
- To Involve and work with application/end users to triage and fix MQ issues
