Roles and responsibilities
1. Support the business through proactive monitoring of the business processes and prevent issues
2. Identify recurring issues and create problem tickets to ensure permanent resolutions
3. Support the business users through addressing user queries, resolving minor incidents/changes and create/enhance knowledge documents enabling early resolution of issues
4. Have continuous dialogue with the business to understand the business requirements and create change requests and ensure that it is in the backlog
5. Drive small projects specific to the market
6. Ensure that global projects/changes are well understood and impact on US/CA is analysed to avoid regression impact
7. Ensures that mandatory business requirements with respect to SAP FI and SD are met.

Technical Expertise
1. SAP certified Consultant with 7+ years experience
2. Should have minimum 2 implementation and Support experience
3. Good techno/functional knowledge – should be able to do basic ABAP debugging
4. Experience in GL, AP, AR and Integration with SD and MM
5. Taxware knowledge
6. Experience in O2C and P2P cycles, intercompany processes, month end processes
7. Knowledge in working with interfaces , IDOC, EDI etc
8. Well versed with Agile methodology, incident management, problem management and change management processes

Soft Skills
1. Should have an analytical bent of mind to understand business issues
2. Good Communication (verbal and written) skills
3. Ability to work across business and IT organization and manage relations for smoother delivery
4. Should be Client and proactive
