  • We are assisting a New England-based IT company with hiring their next best Sr. Software Engineer.
    This Sr. Software Engineer
    must have proven experience (7+ years) creating clean object-oriented PHP code, must have experience working on the back end in various SQL or NoSQL databases, have cloud experience (AWS, Azure, etc.), and have prior experience working in an Agile environment.

     

    Skills that will be crucial to succeed in this role are:

  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Have a love for coding (someone that loves to code for fun in free time)
  • Ability and interest in taking on multiple tasks such as coding, managing their cloud environment, automating deployments, create new services, etc.
  • Ability to take on more responsibility and lead a team of developers as the team grows.
  • Understand how to prioritize tasks, work on mission-critical development first, understand how to promote and further the business, and be part of the technical evaluation team.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees from junior developers to C-level managers.
  • Bring an understanding of development best practices into the organization.
