Linux Admin requirement details.

1. Day to day fielding of cluster user issues & curating the cluster forum
2. Interaction with X-ISS (3^rd party cluster management service provider) on technical aspects of the cluster environment, including tickets submission and follow-up to close-out for in-scope (of X-ISS) applications
3. Management of out-of-scope (of X-ISS) applications, including installation, updates, dependencies resolution etc.
4. Technical support with
   1. strategic initiatives like cloud HPC, HPC expansion & benchmarking, AWS resource management and oversight (costs, updates, etc.), and
   2. tactical elements – upkeep of license servers, vendor tickets pursuit, etc.
5. HPC hardware benchmarking and technical assessments (high speed storage, compute architectures etc.)
6. Documentation and generation of Standard Work, best practices etc.
