Day to day fielding of cluster user issues & curating the cluster forum
Interaction with X-ISS (3rd party cluster management service provider) on technical aspects of the cluster environment, including tickets submission and follow-up to close-out for in-scope (of X-ISS) applications
Management of out-of-scope (of X-ISS) applications, including installation, updates, dependencies resolution etc.
Technical support with
strategic initiatives like cloud HPC, HPC expansion & benchmarking, AWS resource management and oversight (costs, updates, etc.), and
tactical elements – upkeep of license servers, vendor tickets pursuit, etc.
