Market Risk Management (MRM) provides an independent view of market risks to Deutsche Bank’s senior management and manages Deutsche Bank’s Market Risk position in an independent and neutral way.
The Market Risk Analysis and Control (MRAC) function is responsible for the provision of all official market risk metrics and core analysis in support of risk management decision making, on behalf of the Market Risk Management depart-ment. The team has a global presence with staff located in London, New York, Frankfurt, Berlin, Singapore, Mumbai and Pune.

This is a contract role located in New York and an exciting opportunity to work for a leading global investment bank and one of the top global universal banks. It is a diversified role with exposure to multiple business lines, including invest-ment and commercial bank.

The MRAC Agile Development team is a highly skilled group with a flat and globally aligned hierarchy. As part of the Deutsche Bank Risk Division this team has access to the industry’s state-of-the-art risk management models.

Your key responsibilities
A member of the MRAC Agile Development Team, the primary responsibilities are:
- Working closely with the Global Stress testing team and delivering key agile projects:
o EBA Analytics and Support (Connecting, Moving and Querying Big Data out of Oracle & SQL Server)
o Analysing and Building automation for cost saving and efficiencies across daily/weekly team activities
§ Identifying areas where automation would benefit the team and proposing agile solutions
§ Agreeing solution design/architecture with the team leads (integrating with core production infrastruc-ture)
§ Meeting agreed deadlines (including full support documentation and unit testing)
- Deliver component based development modules
- Contribute to the design and delivery of overall projects
- Challenge the design and architecture of agile projects
- Review, plan, spec and build rapid development tools to assist the MRAC team to deliver the required objectives
- Develop robust tactical systems with a strategic view to facilitate the following:
o Data retrieval (multiple sources)
o Data validation (checking the data via controls)
o Data processing (enriching)
o Data calculations (performing optimum speed for complex calcs)
- Data reporting (displaying data via reports and web pages for slice and dice views to be consumed by the business leaders)
