Job description
 
Looking for a Frontend Engineer with a start-up mindset and a passion to thrive in a fast- paced environment. You will be asked to adhere to high coding standards by contributing your ideas to peer coding reviews. You will have the opportunity to iterate and innovate to address some of the company's most import issues at hand.
 
The frontend team appreciates and expects individuals to take ownership of the code they write, through the product lifecycle and the changes that come from it. Our ideal candidate would have a good understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles and should consider non-functional requirements (like performance, usability, cross-browser consistency, responsiveness, accessibility etc.,) when proposing solutions to the team.
 
Responsibilities
 
  
•Writes thoroughly tested and reviewed code towards new features and enhancements to the existing application.
•Actively participates in discussions around coding conventions and standards, including introducing improvements and challenging the existing ideas.
•Builds thoughtful modules and components, keeping in mind maintainability,
reuse, and compatibility with the existing architecture. The new code is also evaluated for performance, scalability and stability 
•Collaborates with team members, including engineers on the frontend, backend,
QA and DevOps during the entire development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality code to production each and every release.
 
What we expect 
•A willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
•S+ years of experience in software design and development.
•At least 3-5 years in JavaScript Framework programming using React/Redux.
•Experience/Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, Git, Jira and Confluence
•Solid understanding of software design patterns.
  
•Strong analytical and technical ability
•Effective collaborator with both non-technical and technical team members.
•Excellent communicator who can articulate technical design trade-offs with team members.
•BA/BS in related field
