Duties

•Participates in requirements and design sessions,then develops and implements fact and dimensions to support the project.

•Reads and understands business requirements, seeksclarification to unclear requirements, follows standard change control andconfiguration management practices and conforms to departmental application developmentstandards and systems life cycle.

•Understands data ETL concepts and best practices.

•Sets up and executes component tests as well as tracksand documents system defects.

•Participates in software design and programming reviews.

•Recommends improvements to design and programmingstandards, procedures and guidelines.

•Perform other related assigned duties asnecessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.

Required:

•Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science,information systems, engineering or related field and two years' related workexperience with the Informatica platform.

• 4 plus years of relationaldatabase concepts and SQL
• 4 plus years of data management/ETLexperience

•Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems

•Self-Starter, ability to communicate equally withbusiness and technical staff.

• Experience in the insuranceindustry, specifically with the health care industry.
