Role Description :-

Roles & Responsibilities

1.            Responsible for Planning, Developing, Implementing and Managing Data Warehouse Project Deliverables, Design Documents and High-Level Data Mapping for SAP BODS ETL Specifications

2.            Responsible for SAP Data Services ETL development, maintenance, support, enhancement of existing solutions

3.            The ETL Developer is proficient in the areas of ETL solution Architecture, design, development, performance tuning and troubleshooting using SAP BODS.

4.            Demonstrable background in Data Modeling and Data architecture skills using BODS ETL toolset.

5.            Works closely with the business team to understand the business requirements, review the functional specs, develop technical specs, build the applications, unit test the application and support the process team during integration testing.

6.            This role must have hands- on experience in SAP BODS, build BODS queries and jobs, strong experience in ETL from multiple SAP and non-SAP sources globally using BODS.

7.            Work extensively on SAP Business Objects Data Services/Data Integrator (ETL Tool)

8.            Responsible for Dimensional modelling, Data Mining and Data warehouse concepts

9.            Responsible to transfer data from Oracle, SQL Server tables and Web Services either Incrementally (Delta Load) or full Load to the Data warehouse on periodic basis

10.          Trouble shooting existing ETL jobs and improve performance of the existing jobs

11.          Create and load data into Aggregate Tables using transformations

12.          Perform tasks individually and independently

Job description

1.            5 -8 Years of experience in SAP Business Objects Data Services (SAP BODS)

2.            Proficient Knowledge in SAP Business Objects Data Services/Data Integrator (ETL Tool)

3.            5+ years of experience in ETL tools especially in SAP Data Services, repository maintenance, migration of jobs/workflows/dataflows, job monitoring, break fix, user maintenance, CDC, Oracle Golden Gate, worked with different sources targets to load the data (Oracle, SAP, Files as source; SQL Server, file uploads etc. as targets).

4.            2+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality is a plus

5.            Proficient Knowledge in Dimensional modelling, Data Mining and Data warehouse concepts

6.            Should have Excellent Analytical Skills

7.            Proficient knowledge in transformations like Query, Push down, SQL, Table Comparison, Pivot, Look up () etc.

8.            Proficient Knowledge in Databases like Oracle (SQL Queries), SQL Server

9.            Knowledge to transfer data from Oracle, SQL Server tables and Web Services either Incrementally (Delta Load) or full Load to the Data warehouse on periodic basis

10.          Knowledge in Trouble shooting existing ETL jobs and improve performance of the existing jobs
