ORACLE DBA
telecommunications clients is looking for a Senior Oracle DBA to join their team in Marlborough, MA. The team is currently growing and is looking for someone to help them expand into Oracle 19c and Exadata. This candidate should come from a strong Oracle DBA background on the technical side.
ORACLE DBA REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years’ Technical Oracle DBA experience
- Worked in an enterprise level database
- Worked with 12 TB at least
- Administering and monitoring Oracle database environment
- Oracle Exadata experience
- Any background with migration to Oracle Exadata
- Oracle RAC experience
- 12c Oracle database experience
- Experience upgrading Oracle database
- Upgrade to 12c to 19c
PLUS SKILLS:
- Oracle Goldengate experience
ORACLE DBA RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Migration to Oracle Exadata
- Upgrading Oracle from 12c to 19c
- Occasionally work on projects with Datawarehouse projects and Oracle Analytics Server
- Work with engineers on performance issues and changes they need to deploy
- Core DBA responsibilities: administer and monitor the database, create clones and backups
