Work on projects by gathering business/functional requirements by working with business and technical SMEs and writing detailed technical specification stories
Analyze the current state of business processes and determine approaches to improve, automate and provide oversight dashboards.
Ensure adherence with corporate guidelines for open source usage, enterprise architecture and security standards as well as internal technology standards
Coding and debugging applications along with analyzing existing systems, processes and data flows
Identifying and implementing new uses of technology that deliver business value
Drive an Agile mindset and delivery culture throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualifications:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information technology or related discipline
7 years of hands on experience with database design, security and SQL Programming using Microsoft SQL Server
7 years of hands on experience with developing n-tier web applications using Microsoft .Net technologies including C#, ASP/ASP.Net
5 years of hands on experience using web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
Some knowledge of reporting and analytics tools including such as SSRS, Cognos, Aspose, Tableau, PowerBI will be a plus
Financial Services experience (Asset Management background a plus)
Strong understanding of Business Analysis concepts, SDLC methodologies and Operating models (Agile & Waterfall) with ability to gather and document requirements
Ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences at varying levels of leadership, in areas with both technical and business focus
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with detailed oriented approach
Proven track record of delivering on-time high quality solutions
Excellent prioritization and time management skills to handle multiple Projects/Tasks
