- Minimum 12 years of experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux performance tuning and related utilities
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP protocols (sub netting, routing, DNS, NTP) and load balancing technologies
- Strong Shell scripting (Bash/KSH, PERL, Python)
- Maintain infrastructure documentation for complete solution, including architecture diagrams and Linux/OS run books.
- Five plus years of experience with the following Oracle enterprise platforms (Exadata, Exalogic, PCA, Big data, ODA, and ZFS)
- Minimum 12 years of experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology
Highly Desired
- Ability to articulate root cause of complex technical issues and demonstrate the ability to formulate technical options for protecting the production
- Ability to diagnose unique and complex system issues in conjunction with external vendors and internal FDNY technical teams.
- Experience with one or more Oracle Fusion Middleware products a plus.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure automation principles (infra code) & tools (Chef / Puppet / Ansible) a plus
- Familiarity with proactive service monitoring concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle OEM a major plus.
