We are looking for an experienced software engineer to design and implement technology solutions leveraging cloud capabilities in a team-oriented, product-focused, agile environment. As a member of a cross-functional, autonomous team, you will help deliver some of the bank's most important products and services while developing skills and experience well beyond your initial role. An engineer in this role will contribute to a learning culture where knowledge, ideas and opinions are shared openly. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement cloud-native software solutions on the AWS platform. Build and share technical expertise with agile team members and other members of the organization. Participate in technology communities of practice to define and continuously refine standards and best practices. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and creating maintainable, supportable, and testable solutions. Keep up with technology trends and innovations in your field(s) of practice Provide operational support and troubleshooting for your team’s products and services Maintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory requirements Provide coaching, mentoring, and training for new or less experienced team members Provide leadership and guidance to your team in your technical field(s) of expertise Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology field or equivalent combination of education and work experience 3+ years of Engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position Solid understanding and significant experience with modern software development practices, tools, and hardware technologies 3+ years of Experience developing server-side Java Springboot microservices 1+ year of AWS Software development experience Solid understanding of Internet application security best practices Experience with Spring, Spring-Boot, Gradle, Git / GitHub, and popular CI/CD tools Experience with Docker and/or Kafka is desirable Knowledge and experience working with Databases Willingness to learn new skills and expand in Technology Areas Strong problem-solving and communication skills Willingness to work in a highly-collaborative environment
