JOB DETAIL

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience administering various multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime Oracle databases as a Systems/Infra/Application DBA.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of Oracle database administration.
  • Experience on Exadata a plus.
  • Strong experience working with Oracle versions 11gR/2 and 19c in a UNIX environment.
  • Strong, proven Oracle Database Performance Diagnostic skills (at both the SQL and system levels).
  • Strong programming experience in PL/SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting and/or Perl (preferably).
  • Experience with features such as Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, Active Data Guard and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Experience with Exadata X4- X8 and ZDLRA appliances is preferable.
  • Strong experience with performance tuning and supporting RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of strong experience with Oracle Data Guard ensuring continued availability of standby database environment.
  • Knowledge of Oracle MAA.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, with an understanding of UNIX/LINUX Operating systems, Storage and network administration.
  • Experience supporting and implementing advanced, strategic database management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive Agile development and implement automated process to improve database system reliability.
  • Direct experience in working within the database administration teams for large-scale enterprise that are highly scalable and reliable.
  • Technical acumen in implementation and support of the core database services that are highly reliable, flexible, scalable and cost effective.
  • Self-starter capability, ability to acquire new skills autonomously.
  • Demonstrably solid written and verbal communication skills to drive projects to successful conclusion.
