Project Management and initiatives and SAP landscape & technology roadmap perspective.

From the PM perspective:  

• Serves as escalation point and have oversight for multiple projects for Integration Finance team 

• Provides support/guidance to the business, product and delivery teams during project execution (analysis, design, configuration, development and testing) for financial accounting processes and solutions.  

• Defines technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determine technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design. • Partners with business analysts, systems analysts and engineers to facilitate finalization of requirements.  

• Delivers solutions with business users and delivery resources to analyze, design, 
recommend, plan, develop and implement solutions to meet strategic, usability, 
performance, reliability, control, and security requirements.  

• Provides cost–efficient, high quality, client–focused solutions, according to established policies, procedures, and processes.  

• Gives guidance on internal documentation for architected solutions  

• Contributes to the implementation of innovative project solutions through project planning and execution.  

• Performs other job–related duties as assigned.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provides support/guidance to the business, product and delivery teams during project execution (analysis, design, configuration, development and testing) for financial accounting processes and solutions. 
  • Partners with business analysts, systems analysts and engineers to define and review requirements. 
    Delivers solutions with business users and delivery resources to analyze, design, recommend, plan, develop and implement solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, control, and security requirements 
  • Creates, maintains, reviews and gives guidance on internal documentation for architected solutions. 
    Contributes to the implementation of innovative project solutions through development and/or configuration activities. 
  • Delivers project and support services in area of responsibility within allocated budget. May be responsible for development of budgets for small to mid-size projects and/or for timely renewal of maintenance and subscription contracts. 
  • Adheres to and guides junior staff and contingent workers to adhere to GIS project management, software application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA and other relevant processes, standards, governance and controls. May manage execution of sox controls and testing, and support internal and external audits. 
  • Plan and manage small to medium sized business application projects to ensure effective and efficient execution in line with guardrails of scope, timeline, budget and quality. May serve as a team lead on a larger, complex project. 
  • Oversees/manages contingent workers performing project and/or support services. Responsible for the selection, on boarding and off boarding of contingent workers in a timely manner. Manage contingent worker project/task assignments and ensure work product quality. Approves contingent worker time sheets/cost.
