As the Senior .NET Developer/Scrum Master, you will become part of a team supporting the information technology requirements. Reporting to a Director of Systems Development, responsible for collecting business requirements, performing a role of a scrum master, managing projects, systems analysis and design, application development, routine maintenance and support.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work closing with business user to document requirements and performing a role of a scrum master, managing small scale projects
- Providing technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies which assist the business in meeting their strategic objectives
- Acting as an authority technical resource to develop staff on all phases of the systems development life cycle
- Leading teams or projects
- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested
Successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in software development
- Certified scrum master a plus
- 5-7 years hands on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including C# and ASP.NET. Angular 11, Experience with Java, J2EE and WebSphere preferred
- Strong web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery) and XML/XSL
- Strong database design and development skills using Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in developing n-tier applications for internal and external audiences
- Working knowledge of software development and implementation on mobile devices (iOS and Android)
- Experience and working knowledge of Agile mythology, Jira
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to work equally well independently and in a team environment
- Able to manage multiple tasks at a time while meeting all project dedications
- Flexible enough to succeed whether assigned larger project initiatives or routine maintenance and support tasks.
- Experience with financial services applications preferred
- Knowledge of mutual funds business a plus
