Position Description:
The SAP MM/WM Lead Consultant will be responsible for support activities to the existing SAP ECC landscape and ensure that the enhancements / project(s) are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the satisfaction of business users. The SAP MM/WM Lead consultant is responsible for leading design and implementation of the existing SAP MM/WM solution-delivery and enhancement / project deliverables including (but not limited to) - functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training and support. The SAP MM/WM Lead consultant must be a subject matter expert on SAP MM/WM processes.
Position Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on best practices on warehouse process and functions
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into a solution
- Ability to understand the breadth and depth of the deliverable and how the solution fits into the larger picture.
- Responsible for the Functional aspects of the Analysis and Design Process and its associated documentation
- Guides and troubleshoots during support and enhancement delivery
- Responsible for defining and timely competition of required task with little or no assistance or oversight.
- Ability to act as a lead resource for others on the team
- Able to set and follow standards.
- Facilitates getting the involvement of any other group or individual needed to solve a problem
- Able to conduct presentations to all audiences on a variety of subjects related to MM/WM
- Able to communicate with team members and clients in a clear, consistent, and professional manner.

- Keeps the customer stakeholders updated on progress and status of assigned work
- Able to allocate time, prioritize tasks, and accurately scope tasks
- Suggests improvement ideas for process optimization and increasing efficiency
Position Requirements
- 15+ years of SAP experience with implementation, roll-out and support projects
- Responsibilities would include planning, monitoring and tracking progress
- Adhering to support SLA
- Designing, configuring, testing and supporting SAP WM
- 6+ years of Lead experience in SAP MM/WM

- Should be familiar with material handling systems and how to integrate them to SAP WMS solutions
- Strong warehouse, distribution and transportation Logistics Business Process Knowledge and experience

- A self-starter
- ABAP Debugging skills is a plus
- Experience working in a validated environment is mandatory
- Life science experience will be an advantage
