Looking for a passionate, self-motivated, Software Engineer to join the Pathways Connect development team. Pathways Connect is a platform of micro-services built-in .NET (4+, Core) which provide support to business units and external customers who support a patient’s journey through a prescription drug program; it is hosted in multiple environments such as onPrem APIs as well as in the Azure cloud. Pathways Connect development team is a fast-paced environment with a mix of new development, maintenance and debugging, and supporting the business. The Software Engineer will work with the IT BA and IT PM to understand requirements and work with the Senior Architect and Senior Engineers to implement the solutions. 

Furthermore, the Software Engineer will be responsible for unit testing, documenting the solutions, designs, and creating usability guides.

Responsibilities

- Develop .NET and .NET Core applications using C#, WebApi (REST), and SQL Server (Entity Framework Code First)
- Work with business stakeholders and Architect to understand requirements and implement solutions.
- Migration of on-prem, IIS-based, WebApis to Azure Cloud (Serverless), .NET Core.
- Develop and maintain Unit Tests and Integration Tests
- Provide technical support to business and Tier 1 support. Investigate tickets by data-mining SQL database and debugging code.
- Perform code reviews
- Follow software development methodologies, version control, and migration standards.
- Develop and support Angular based web applications.

Basic Qualifications

- Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills; Fluent in English
- A minimum of four years of experience with .NET C#, and some hands-on experience with .NET(4+) Core required
- A minimum of four years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2014+) is required, with strong T-SQL (procedures, inner-joins), database-normalization, and data-mining skills.
- A minimum of one year of experience in Angular 6 or greater is recommended.
- Hands on experience with development tools like PostMan, Chrome Developer Tools, Fiddler, Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Management Studio, and Azure Data Studio
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure(Serverless); preferably with Azure Functions, API Management, CosmosDB
- Good command of CLI tools such as git, npm, etc.
- Team player, solution provider, and proactive thinking, with strong troubleshooting skills
