Must possess the SAP functional consulting experience for SAP production planning, quality management and plant maintenance processes.
Should be comfortable in interacting and driving discussions with the client.
Should have thorough experience in SAP support, system configuration, blueprinting, functional specification for custom development and testing.
Knowledge of SAP discrete manufacturing, preventive and corrective maintenance, quality planning and inspection and notifications.
Should have knowledge of integration and interfaces to deal with legacy systems. Should have worked with IDOCs and RFCs.
Should have worked more than 2 years in SAP support projects and knows support mode and its SLA, CSF, KRA or KPI.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Prepare and facilitate assessment workshops to analyze client’s business requirements. Consultant must be able to explain business reasons for utilizing functionalities and transform them into business SAP best business practice.
Write detailed functional mapping to SAP applications, functional gap analysis, detailed blueprint design and process documentation and detailed functional specifications for any custom development. This includes integration points with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), CO (Controlling) and SD (Sales and Distribution)
Perform system configuration, creation of integration/user acceptance test scenarios and scripts as well as facilitate and provide direct support for user testing and also user training.
Create and/or support creation of cutover plan and scripts as well as facilitate and provide direct support for production migration and go-live stabilization.
Co-ordinate with offshore team based in India to manage resolution of incidents and project delivery.
Identify improvement areas and drive adoption of SAP functionalities for the client
Should work as SPOC for any high priority incident.
