Project Details:

This is in the digital space of Optum. This team mostly does backend development-microservices, API, Java, NoSQL, etc.

The APIs are external and their main job is to expose member data(provider info, etc) to the portal for UHC.com.

They are rewriting the APIs and breaking them into microservices.

They use a hybrid cloud that includes Azure, and use groovy for testing.

This person will need to help rewrite the APIs and take it all the way to production.

Must haves:

Microservices/API-someone

who has worked with APIs form scratch is crucial

Springboot

Java 8 (They use mostly Kotlin which is for mobile apps, but he knows that isn’t super common)

Docker-Someone who understands to how to work with containers

Nice to haves:

Kotlin experience

Customer facing or e-commerce experience

Enterprise level experience
