Responsibilities Include:
• Work closing with business user to document requirements and performing a role of a scrum master, managing small scale projects
• Providing technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies which assist the business in meeting their strategic objectives
• Acting as an authority technical resource to develop staff on all phases of the systems development life cycle
• Leading teams or projects
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested
Successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in software development
• Certified scrum master a plus
• 5-7 years hands on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including C# and ASP.NET. Angular 11, Experience with Java, J2EE and WebSphere preferred
• Strong web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery) and XML/XSL
• Strong database design and development skills using Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in developing n-tier applications for internal and external audiences
• Working knowledge of software development and implementation on mobile devices (iOS and Android)
• Experience and working knowledge of Agile mythology, Jira
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Able to work equally well independently and in a team environment
• Able to manage multiple tasks at a time while meeting all project dedications
• Flexible enough to succeed whether assigned larger project initiatives or routine maintenance and support tasks.
• Experience with financial services applications preferred
• Knowledge of mutual funds business a plus
