Key Responsibilities:
• Create and execute test plans for existing products and features across iOS ,Android and Web platforms while understanding the product from both a technical and business perspective.
• Work with the development team to define testing protocol for new features as they are designed and developed.
• Develop test scenarios from requirements and ensure maximum requirement traceability.
• Develop and execute tests cases to ensure functional and regression coverage across multiple platforms.
• Design and implement automated testing tools.
• Assist development teams in improving testing efficiency and identifying non-compliance with requirements, including edge cases, usability and general reliability.
• Detects, logs, and reports program bugs and glitches.
• Tracks defects and helps troubleshoot errors.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical field with 2-3 years experience working on testing web and mobile applications across different platforms (iOS, Android) and web browsers (Chrome, Safari).
• Good working knowledge of programming languages ,UI framework like Vue.js , mongoDB and REST.
• Knowledge and practical experience of all test stages and types (unit, integration, system ,performance testing etc.).
• Experience using issue tracking tools.
• Document procedures to enable faster troubleshooting and resolution.
• Good understanding of Scripting and automation tools.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Understanding basic principles of Unix-like systems.
• Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends.
• Experiment with and learn new technologies.
