A minimum of 5 years of IT business analysis experience.

Experience in creating and reviewing documentation specific to Merck's SDLC.

Proven experience with creating user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes and data mappings
Must be able to develop and articulate a plan of action, whether in support of strategy development or planning a roadmap. This plan must be clear, compelling and understandable, and flow in a logical fashion with supporting rationale as appropriate.
Demonstrated skills in developing compelling business cases and solution recommendations; specifically ensuring high quality materials to facilitate client conversations and presentations
Preferred Experience and Skills:
10+ years proven knowledge of business processes within the pharmaceutical space.
Thorough understanding of Power BI data visualization options – Must have the ability to identify and explain to stakeholders when a request requires custom-coding or when no out-of-the-box features exist
Eliciting requirements – help stakeholders articulate their data visualization needs and prototype potential layouts/designs/solutions to drive conversations & gather feedback
Deep analytical skills, strong out-of-the-box thinking, curiosity, and strong business intuition; can connect the dots between disparate data sources to drive insight
5+ years of relevant experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or analytics.
Ability to write detailed requirements for analysis flow, source data interfaces, extracts, relationship among data entities and reports.
Ability to plan the layouts for high-level dashboards & detail-level drill-through reports using the most effective Power BI features for the given situation
Excellent written & verbal communication skills – willingness to explain/translate the business need to technical developers; ability to explain technical concepts in layman’s terms when talking with stakeholders
Prior experience gathering requirements and working with developers to deliver production reports in two or more data visualization projects
Document requirements & configuration decisions for each report/dashboard; work with testing team to design test cases based on documented requirements
Experience working with innovative experiments, specifically contributing to idea generation, idea incubation, and/or experimentation; and identifying tangible and measurable criteria
Proven leadership and people management skills are preferred, along with excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to understand, align and ensure integration of IT business and solution architecture with business solutions.
Experience working with and managing partners/suppliers, consultants and/or contractors.
