Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Full Remote

Project Scope / Business Driver: Multiple projects they are supporting.

1) Identity Management product build on Azure B2C – Java based app to allow SSO. OAuth & API for User Identity.

2) Associate Screening – Mobile Web App using React and Java Microservices

Application Landscape: Java / Spring Boot / OAuth / React / Variety of Data Sources (JCP / PostgreSQL / MySQL / Google API abstraction / MongoDB) / Jenkins ? PCF Containerization / Junit – Engineers do all of their own Unit Testing

Team Size, Breakdown & Stakeholders: 7-8 Developers / Engineering Manager / Scrum Master / Shared Architects
Development Methodology: Scrum – 2 week (Jira)
Testing Methodology: Nothing formal other than doing all unit tests in Junit

Key Skills / Must Haves:
• 80/20 or 90/10 backend – Java / SpringBoot / REST APIs & Microservices
o Called out people not being able to designing RESTful APIs
o They will do algorithm tests on the IV
• Some JS ideally in React, doesn’t have to be a lot
• Unit testing (Junit)
o TDD would be really nice to have
• Core Computer Science principals
o Someone who has done a lot of self-learning example was in cloud native apps
• Good communication, they might start to work in pairs so the person has to be able to work with others
• CI/CD and Cloud experience (no specific tools, just need to understand the process)
