- Should have strong understanding of SAP SD concepts and integration with other modules.
- Good exposure in integration aspects of Variant Configuration with different Business Process
- Should have the ability to clearly understand the business requirements and map it to individual SAP object /processes and work closely to fulfil the business needs
- Should have a good understanding of products modelling and configuring in SAP.
- Strong understanding of the Object dependencies including usage of Variant functions, and variant tables in object dependency with exemplary approach to avoid development to cater to complex scenarios.
- Strong understanding of the Process using Variant Configuration.
- Good understanding of Standard pricing and . pricing and usage of Routines in pricing and ability to convert the Pricing requirements to Variant configuration pricing using standard
- Good understanding of .C. Variant configuration and pricing.
- Ability to identify the Function modules, BAPI, User exits that may be needed to cater to Business requirements in Variant configuration.
- Ability to use ALE for data transfer to different SAP R/3 Environments.
- Valiant planning can be an added advantage.
- Should have at least 5+ years of experience on SAP VC (Variant Configuration) and overall of 8+ years in SAP SD module.
- Must have experience of all Life cycles of implementing an SAP SD-VC Solutions.
- Must have completed at least 2 E2E SAP SD-VC implementation projects.
- Experienced in working on Enhancements/ User exits
- Provide knowledge transfer to Production Support team after project go-live
- Need to be prepared to offer help and expertise to Production Support team for any urgent production issue
- Exposure to SAP ERP modules will be a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design scalable, performance optimal and re-usable technical solution to meet specific business requirements
- Develop functional specifications, testing, and documentation
- Perform Proof-of-concept and prototyping activities whenever required
- Raise SAP OSS messages and follow-up on standard SAP issues until closure
- Must be able to multi-task and work on parallel items at the same time functional design, fix issues and undertake collaborative tasks
- Active participation in root-cause analysis and troubleshooting of issues
- Willing to share technical knowledge and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within development team from time-to-time
- Provide knowledge transfer to Production Support team after project go-live
- Need to be prepared to offer technical help and expertise to Production Support team for any urgent production issue
