Application Engineer, Oracle Webcenter
- Work collaboratively as a member of the team to support business operations for WebCenter/Middleware applications
- Designing, developing, integrating, and customizing Oracle WebCenter products utilizing various development technologies such as front-end web development technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and Java
- Implementing content-focused solutions, including web content management, document management, and records management for a Fortune 500 Company
- Troubleshoot Problems, Conduct Bug Fixes for successful business operations.
- Writing Java and JavaScript code to enhance the user experience and efficiency of a search results interface.
- Providing leadership, technical, and project assistance to less experienced team members
- Developing documentation for software and customizations, including user guides, installation guides, requirements analysis, design specifications, and custom training materials
Required Experience: MUST HAVE
- 5 years’ experience in Oracle WCC (UCM) 11g/12c and AP Automation with ERP implementation projects.
- 3 5 years of development experience with the following technologies: Java, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, and relational databases
- Experience working with different Operating Systems, including LINUX, UNIX, and Windows, along with OS Admin experience file permissions, directory access, remote access.
- Self-starter, results-oriented, able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment, tact, and a clear purpose while under pressure in a very dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects at once.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred Skills:
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of web and application server technologies, including WebLogic, IIS, Apache Web Server, and Tomcat
- Exposure on Oracle SOA/BPEL, ADF.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with other content management solutions
- Experience with website design (GUI tools, user experience design, site structure)
- Organized and detailed oriented.
