Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, MVC, C#, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Designs, codes, tests, and documents Windows Applications, Web Applications, and Web Services.
Defines and enhances SOA frameworks and supporting technical documents.
Experience in MS SQL and Oracle.
Possesses mature critical thinking skills, self-direction, and expert level troubleshooting abilities.
Enhances existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans. and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Maintains existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
Investigates and develops skills in new technologies and software tools.
Creates technical specifications.
Creates new and extend existing operational documentation.
Participates in peer reviews and walkthroughs.
Plans and implements every process step as defined in methodologies.
Keeps abreast of current and emerging technologies, how they integrate, and drive value for Client.
Experience in microservice and cloud, such as Azure and AWS is a plus.
This position will perform other duties as assigned based on the needs of the department.

Required Education & Experience
Education and experience based on requirements that are job-related and consistent with business necessity
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or equivalent field.
5+ years in software design/development, with a majority of time focused on building large scale online applications.
Experience in relational databases such as MS SQL and Oracle.
Web Services paradigms experience.
RPC technologies such as SOAP, XML-RPC experience.
Ability to articulate technical issues, root cause, and remediation plans in plain English.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to communicate with both business and technical teams. 
Including, the ability to articulate technical issues, root cause, and remediation plans in layman’s terms.
