JOB DETAIL

As part of this role, you will be working with a variety of teams including other engineering leads, architects, product managers and data science teams. Successful candidates will have shown the ability to ship quality product in a fast-paced agile environment.

Minimum qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree: Computer science or similar with 7+ years of experience or Master’s in Computer science and similar with 5+ years of experience.

· Strong experience with Web Development, REST and Service-Oriented Architecture.

· Hands-on experience developing complex systems. You must have experience with SOA designs, Middleware solutions, big data ecosystem and distributed systems.

· Hands-on coding experience in Java and Python.

· Experience with architecting and building serverless and container-based components.

· Strong experience with building SOAP and RESTful services.

· Expertise at defining architecture for microservices based applications.

· Strong experience with Relational and NoSQL database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB and Redis.

· Understanding of real-time and batch data processing systems.

· Working knowledge of Cloud technologies - especially deployment and maintenance of services and components.

· Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and work on the same to meet business requirements.

· Understanding of best design practices to meet security and compliance standards for threats and vulnerabilities.

· Excellent communication skills.

· Passion for the meeting the standards of data privacy by design.

Good-to-have qualifications:

· Cloud Architect certification for AWS, GCP or Azure.

· Experience working with Data Scientists and understanding of Data Science models.

· Familiarity with big data technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, Hadoop, Elastic Search, etc.

· Experience building Kinesis or Kafka data streams for real-time data stream analysis.

· Experience with UI/UX technologies like NodeJS, Angular, VueJS, ExtJS and React.

· Hands-on coding experience in PySpark and Scala.
