- Identify and uphold Full stack engineering best practices
- Collaborate with designers & product managers to iterate on the design & implementation of our product
- Work with Engineers from our consumers to build and ship features
- Design a framework for creating services that grows with the needs of the company
- Monitor performance, watch for traffic drops related to usability problems & rectify the issues
- Review app and feature code, and plan future API upgrades with the development team
- Assist in the development of applications & features that will be put on the website, mobile app, and external client apps
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
- Requires minimum of 5 years of experience in working with SQL Server databases, SSIS, and T-SQL.
- Experience using APIs to pull data into SQL databases.
- Must be able to build and maintain a positive relationship with vendors and internal suppliers and customers.
- Must be able to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working with Business Analysts and customers to understand data integration and report requirements.
- Managing enhancements and ensuring their successful completion and the realization of value.
- Working with systems vendors and internal technical support teams to gain access to business data, defining the technical requirements for data integration, and ensuring successful set up and testing of integrations.
- Designing, developing, and testing SSIS procedures; using T-SQL and KingswaySoft for loading data into a SQL Server data warehouse and for extracting data from that data warehouse for downstream integrations.
