- Meet business goals - Products and solutions delivered by the team must meet the economic business goals jointly established by the business and technology teams
- Customer Centricity and understanding customer needs – As the internal representative (Voice) of the customer, continually leverage market research and trends to be able to provide best customer value.
- Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products.
- Make prioritization calls with a goal of ensuring the team remains focused on highest value add activities
- Review and approve design, technical, and/or operational specifications developed by teams.
- Identify and initiate work process and tool improvements that lead to increased productivity.
- Define clear work goals in line with business goals and establish departmental priorities and expectations.
- Prepare annual department budget
- Review and approve design alternatives brought forth by teams.
- Liaise with senior management and provide reports/updates related to department performance as requested.
III. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE& SKILLS

- Bachelor's Degree in directly related field required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of complex software development experience, at least 5 of which were in a supervisory capacity.
- Extensive knowledge of system development life cycle, client area’s functions, and systems and applications program development alternatives.
- 5+ years’ experience managing teams
