Title: Sr. Java Developer | Lead with AWS
Location: Richmond, VA | Remote
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Job Description:
Minimum 10 years of experience.
- Development experience (Java) in enterprise messaging system architectures (Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, etc.)
- Experience with cloud data and application migration Experience using Agile software development methods in a DevOps environment.
- Experience with J2EE full stack development. Java Messaging Services, Web Services
- Experience with automated unit testing (such as JUnit) Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and understand complex technical terms/materials.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field from a US accredited institution
- Specifically, in AWS, they are looking out for S3, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, ECS, CloudFormation, Lambda, RedisCache and VPC knowledge.
- In SpringBoot, they are looking at folks having experience in Spring Security, encryption techniques, Spring REST and Maven,Github, Docker
Nice to have:
- AWS Certification,
- Experience with distributed scalable Big Data storage, including AWS EMR, Spark. etc.
- Experience performing data Management, modeling, and warehousing.
