Our client is seeking a Software Developer in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The Software Developer works in the Software Development group as a member of an Agile Scrum team to design, code, test, document, and ultimately deliver high performing solutions to technical problems. This candidate is expected to work with the team, the business and partners to achieve goals and meet deadlines. The Software Developer also provides top tier support for the tools and applications used by the company.

Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree or Certification in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems or equivalent experience/formal training in object oriented programming languages for Microsoft systems
• Typically 2+ years related work experience and/or formal training
• Knowledge of software development practice, concepts and technology
• Exposure to C#, Visual Basic, VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL, ASP, ASP.NET and COM+
• Moderate project management experience
• Proficient knowledge of software development practice, concepts, technology obtained through formal training and work experience
• Moderate knowledge of computers and peripherals
• Comfortable with development interfaces and tools
• Utilizes current server and workstation configuration availability to provide structured applications during development and delivery.
• Willingness to work up to 50% of the time using proprietary scripting tools
• A solid work ethic and a strong history of employment are a must
• Solid communication skills both verbal and written
• Experience with other technologies is a plus
• Experience in an agile scrum environment is a plus
• Experience with Symitar, RepGen scripting is a plus
• Experience in a credit union or other financial institution is a plus
• A credit check, background check and drug screening may be required for this position.
• Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
• Must be legal to work in USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities
• Work on one or more projects of moderate to advanced complexity.
• Provide assistance and support to less experienced personnel.
• Effectively documents and communicates assigned work and progress within and to immediate supervision and management
• Routinely tests and implements systems and enhancements using techniques that preserve system integrity.
• Develops simple to moderately complex standalone and multi-tiered applications based on originator specifications.
• Advances less experienced personnel’s technology exposure while helping to provide quality results for the customer.
• Tests programs to ensure quality and expected results prior to deployment in production systems.
• Construct objects at the business logic layer to achieve results defined by project specifications.
• Deliver Web and PC based applications as required to support associated projects.
• Enhance processes based on customer feedback and practical consideration.
• Collects and analyzes data from existing and incoming projects to determine functional requirements
• Works closely with originators to ensure the application delivered meets their criteria through test deployments.
• Makes recommendations for revisions to project plan based on evaluation data.
• Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
