Agile Analytics Delivery

Responsible for bringing self-service analytics solutions to life that deliver business value

Supports projects and sprints through design, build, test & deployment as an important member of our agile team

Design and develop proof of concepts and deliver Power BI demonstrations

 

Data Visualization and Dataset Design & Delivery

Work independently or as part of a team to translate business needs into the design of Power BI solutions for the Analytics team as well as business customers

Collaborate cross-functionally and iteratively to deliver new and improve existing Power BI measures, and visualizations

Assist in preparation for and execution of testing with attention to detail

 

Building and Sharing Analytics Expertise

Responsible for deploying industry best practices in Power BI developments and keeping up with the evolution of the tool and any other Power tools within the Microsoft Power Suite

Provide technical leadership and mentoring for Power BI development teams, defining standards and practices

Provide advice and support to Power BI leads within business teams

Actively participate in Crocs global analytics center of excellence

Consistently educate yourself in the latest features and capabilities within analytics platforms (Power BI, Snowflake, Power Automate, etc.)

 

Next Generation Analytics

Responsible for deploying any new technologies that will improve the delivery of data to the final customer – PowerApps, Power Automate, etc.

Think outside of the box when it comes to merging, delivery and presentation of data from automated and manual data sources

 

Leadership Potential

Experience and a desire to become a leader within the analytics team

 

 

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, data analytics, or equivalent degree

 

Minimum Experience

3-5 years in a similar analytical role

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Proven and deep experience in Power BI Development

Expert Knowledge Power Query and Data Modeling

Strong proficiency in and passion for data visualization design and build

Experience writing DAX Queries

Excellent BA Skills to capture requirements and create documentation

Knowledge of Power BI Data Gateways and other related Power BI Tools such as Tabular Editor

Understanding and/or experience in Snowflake or other similar cloud data warehouse & data lake solution

Experience training both report builders and report consumers on Power BI in both small and large audience formats

Passion for change

Demonstrated ability to analyze data

Unparalleled ability to pay attention to detail while not losing sight of the “big picture”

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Understanding of structured and unstructured database management in a large organization

Understanding and/or desire to work within Agile Framework/Methodology

Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Power BI certification, DAX, UX experience or DevOps experience is a plus

Experience with developing and teaching instructional courseware is a plus

Python and/or SQL experience a plus

Experience with other MS Power Applications – PowerApps, Power Automate is a plus.
