Landmark Health was created to transform how healthcare is delivered to the most medically vulnerable members in our community.  Our medical group provides home-based medical care to chronically ill patients, many of whom are frail, elderly and ill-equipped to navigate our overwhelming healthcare system.

Our model is finding success throughout the country; we are now the nation’s largest risk-based, in-home medical group. Landmark operations are supported by the Information Technology team, which includes teams in the US and India and is broken down into various teams including Application Development, Infrastructure, Data Governance, Product teams, among others.

 

Our Application Development team is growing and expanding! We have an immediate need to hire 2 IT Business Analysts. Our IT Business Analyst will work closely with onshore and offshore teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for projects that will directly affect Landmark’s home grown electronic medical record (EMR), Ubiquity, a home grown consumer facing mobile app, and a home grown mobile app for care team members.  This role will be a liaison between project stakeholders and developers to ensure business and functional requirements are translated and documented to deliver high quality products that enables our care teams to provide better care to patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with all levels of end users, including executive level staff, to understand the core issue and refine business requirements.
  • Become an SME on product modules to be able to identify potential impacts to the application and suggest solutions or workarounds.
  • Translate and document business requirements into thorough functional requirements to maintain transparency and collaboration between all teams including development, operations, and clinical teams.
  • Assist and in some cases own projects through the SDLC lifecycle.
  • Create epics, features, and user stories in Jira and provide development clarifications to development teams.
  • Perform an internal round of user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in supporting end user UAT.
  • Review and provide guidance to release notes documentation related to projects you are responsible for.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience in the health care industry.
  • Experience working with a provider organization would be desirable.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology including User stories, Use Cases, UAT, product sprint and backlog management
  • Experience working with offshore development team is desirable.
  • 2+ years of experience reading, writing and running basic SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of HL7, XML and domain expertise in Healthcare technology protocols and standards.
  • Experience in implementation of integrations with LAB, HIE and other third-party vendors.
  • Strong writing skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment.
