Oracle DBA with Golden Gate

• Develop, test, and implement data integration solutions (Oracle Golden Gate and Qlik (Attunity))

• Provide operational support to customer events such as releases and maintenance as required

• Support significant projects such as upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery exercises

• Create, maintain, and improve various forms of script or code to enable monitoring and automation

• Log, schedule and track all changes using change management system tools

• Respond to trouble states and incidents, applying necessary repairs or restoration of service

• Protecting our customers and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions

Qualifications:

Required:

• Prior experience with Oracle Golden Gate

• Basic understanding of database platforms such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server

• Basic understanding of any scripting language such as Unix shell scripts or Perl

• Experience with Microsoft Office products

• Written and oral communication skills that can interface with people of a technical and non-technical background

• Teamwork, decision-making, documentation and analytical skills

• Customer service experience

• Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation 

• Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

• Experience with one of more of the following databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Teradata

• Knowledge of Python, Perl, Unix shell script, or JavaScript

• Familiarity with cloud solutions like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of PCI or other IT Security compliance standards

• Knowledge of Data Governance best practices
