The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that all accounting calculations are accurate and meets the acceptance criteria defined in the requirements. In this role, the analyst will understand the requirements and translate it into test cases and appropriate test scenarios and associated test scripts.
QUALIFICATIONS
Quality assurance lead to manage a team of 5+ and coordinate end-to-end delivery.
Extensive experience writing scripts SQL, Certification in either SQL/Oracle/Terada will be a plus
Knowledge of Python/R to build financial models and compare the results with the output of the Accounting tool
Experience working with complex and large volume of data using basic SQL and/or advanced pivot tables in Excel.
Solid understanding of general Accounting/Finance processes and best practices.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
10+ years of experience and experience as project lead with a proven track record of managing end to end delivery with strong offshore resource management and experience in status reporting, conducting daily status meeting to ensure tracking.
Create Excel based accounting models to define the expected results for amortization and other financial attributes, and leverage that to compare with the results from Accounting engine.
Experience in Agile testing methodologies and best practices
Knowledge of QA lifecycle in Qtest (or something similar like HP Quality Center) is preferred
Experience in creation and documentation of test scenarios and all the associated test cases/scripts.
Provide mapping from requirements to test case execution to show test coverage and results.
Document all the test case execution and the associated results for SOX compliance.
Document all the defects/bugs and track them to resolution.
Review requirements and specification documents and ensure the acceptance criteria are testable.
Reviewing the use case requirements and preparing of test data
Identify and report risk effectively and work towards mitigation strategy to avoid and issues and associated impact.
