- Be enthusiastic, professional, and confident while maintaining a focus on customer success
- Monitors and manages project financials, scope, and schedule to ensure project stays on track for assigned client projects. Drives implementations of high-quality cloud solutions.
- Acts as primary day-to-day point of contact for the client and the operational aspects of the project. Objective focused on building strong customer relationships.
- Facilitates or co-leads with customer project manager regular status meetings with project team, sponsors, and all stakeholders.
- Adheres to the Rainmaker Approach Methodology and possesses the ability to assess risks in process, people, or technology and adjusts project plans to address accordingly.
- Assists consultant team members in the delivery of client presentations during requirements, design, pilot and user acceptance testing sessions. Reviews deliverables prepared by the team before sharing with the client.
- Provides mentoring, guidance and general care and feeding to project team members, including offshore team members.
- Achieves published company utilization targets.
- Guide and coach the team and the organization on agile principles &
values, scrum ceremonies, etc.
- Improve the productivity of the team by following inspect and adapt
practices
- Support cross-functional, self-organized teams by facilitating
creativity and empowerment
- Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums,
retrospectives, and demos
- Protect scrum team and maintain focus on backlog and sprint timeline
- Improve transparency within the team and broader organization
- Track and remove team's impediments. Identify the true source of
obstacles and demonstrate skill overcoming difficult obstacles impacting the
team. Anticipate and prevent potential obstacles before they occur
- Inspire creative solutions that eliminate waste and improve team
throughput. Effectively influence change outside the team which improves team
throughput
- Guide the team and broader organization on how to use Agile
principles and values
- Act as a leader to the scrum team
- Partner and coach Product Owner and Business Owner to maintain
visible, detailed and prioritized backlog
- Communicate clearly within scrum teams
- Coordinate team's participations in the operating model including
quarterly release planning and scrum of scrums
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders inside and
outside of Salesforce to ensure strong cross-group collaboration
- Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices and
overall operating model and build trust with key stakeholders
- Track & assess team's performance using appropriate systems, tools
and techniques
- Establish best practices in agile implementation that align with
the pace and reality of our business
Education and Required Experience (Requirements)
- Brings 5+ years project management experience with packaged software or custom development implementations
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce)
- Experience in professional services/consulting organization
- Experience in Agile approaches to project management
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets for projects greater than $500K
- Experience with salesforce.com serving as project manager or scrum leader
- Estimation/sizing, SOW/Change Order contracting experience preferred
- Experience working with global development teams preferred
- Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like scrum & kanban
