JOB DETAIL
Responsible for coordinating with offshore resource(s) – track work, explain things, guide offshore what is needed and report back to onshore manager what happened overnight, etc.
Design solutions that leverage Salesforce best practices and introduce new technologies when necessary
Create custom developments that are highly functional, scalable, and easily maintained
Translate business requirements into solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and various integrations
Research and advise on proactive best practices for Salesforce solutions, including update cadences, data hygiene, governor limits and effective reporting across the sales-org
Identify efficiency opportunities and innovative approaches
Work on a variety of Salesforce support and enhancement requests including optimization and integration
Serve as technical operations resource for Salesforce and other systems, and the relationship between these systems
Hands-on development on customization and integration of Salesforce with AWS, experience with middleware integration solutions
Knowledge of integrations, third-party integration tools like Cast Iron (App Connect) and scheduling tools like Control M
Analyze orchestrations, categorize them, decide which can be direct integrations with Salesforce and which need to go through AWS and be able to help implement the same
Experience with Salesforce configuration options, data model / architecture, and security model
Skilled with Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, SOAP - or REST-based web services, and SOQL
Ability to design, code, test, debug and maintain enterprise scale software applications
Knowledge of databases including stored procedures, data warehouse and ETL with Salesforce
Preferred – knowledge of .Net programming
Experience working with Agile/Scrum
Nature aptitude of finding creative solutions to complex challenges
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal and a strong sense of prioritization
