Looking for someone with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience with Pega development.
CERTIFICATIONS: CSA is required, CSSA would be ideal
This resource will be working in, and needs to be comfortable working in, a “green space” environment supporting Pharma 360. All new development. This is an 18 month contract at least with the possibility of extension and/or conversion.
BUSINESS CHALLENGE / DAY-TO-DAY:
This resource will be tied to the modernization of the clients systems. Building / developing on Pega 8.3. All of their new applications are being built using Pega on clients private cloud. Again, must be willing to working in a green space environment and understand that everything hasn’t been fully figured out as far as what the ideal end solution will look like, as it stands today.
Client has its own private cloud that everything is current being built out on. Client is currently undergoing a complete transformation for their program. They are still building out this platform and Julie mentioned they are supposed to make a final decision on their claims engine (IBM Series) within the next couple of weeks. They have two new teams ramping up as well.
This individual will be working in an Agile environment (two week sprints), responsible for developing API's, paired programming, etc. These roles are API / WSO2 centric.
TOP SKILLS:
1. Pega development (version 8 and up) – 5+ years' experience doing Pega development is a must.
2. API experience
3. Kafka / Kubernetes
Other important Technical Skills/Experience:
- MongoDB
- Google cloud experience would be "ideal"
Client is in a growth period currently, which is exciting. They are building on the latest-and-greatest platforms and technology. Lots of learning opportunities and the teams are great to work with, they are learning and fully implementing Agile, and just started on robotics (brand new landscape).
