We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our growing team! This is for a long term contact with a long-tenured client of Evokes. The position's job duties can be completed from anywhere in the United States. Eventually, the candidate might need to relocate for the job, requiring relocation to New Jersey or Florida. The Business Analyst is responsible for understanding stakeholder's business culture, and priorities to effectively identify business problems, assess proposed solutions, and represent the stakeholders' needs. The essential functions of this jobs are as follows:
Excel in all requirement analysis areas, leveraging appropriate company and industry approaches and modeling techniques to gather requirements, document them according to corporate standards and procedures, and prioritize them for assigned areas.
Maintain the group focus, lead meetings toward stated goals, and manage the group dynamics in facilitating gathering and review sessions, including writing user stories.
Build, sustain, leverage professional business relationships when gathering, validating, and approving requirements at clients site.
Recognize inconsistencies and gaps in a complex business process.
Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project's lifecycle.
Be able to assist the development teams in understanding and elaborating requirements and transitioning them into a comprehensive solution.
Assist with the preparation and execution of user acceptance testing
Work closely with the product owner and project timeline and be able to help perform risk mitigation.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
Minimal five years of experience as a Business Analyst
Experience working in an Agile environment (Using SCRUM processes)
Experience with JIRA
Experience working for a Pharma company or a company that specialized in Scientific research
Deep understanding of project lifecycle, including processes, techniques and tools
Extensive knowledge of IT development cycle
Effective listening and critical thinking skills
