Collins Aerospace owns and operates its own internally managed MPLS network and is in the process of migrating businesses acquired through mergers and acquisitions onto this MPLS network. This position will assist in all aspects of this WAN transformation. Device pre and post implementation configuration. Remote support for hands and eyes contractors installing new routers, burn in testing, circuit turn ups and LAN migration from old WAN to new WAN. Scheduling, coordination and testing of circuit implementation issues with service providers. On boarding of hardware to monitoring systems, asset tracking, certificate management.

ABSOLUTELY REQUIRED:
*Experience and knowledge in supporting MPLS WAN required.
*Circuit turn up and troubleshooting.
*Router OS upgrades
*4+ years of hands on working with Cisco routing hardware and technology
*Experience and knowledge with the following Cisco IOS operation and configuration to include knowledge of BGP, ISIS, EIGRP, OSPF.
*Willingness to work in a dynamic rapidly changing environment where priorities can shift quickly
*Project management experience.
*Strong project organization and scheduling skills.
*Exhibit great customer service skills
*Strong documentation skills
*Strong telecom craftsmanship skills for wiring closet and cable path organization
*Requires ability to work nights and weekends
*Operational support of a large corporate client base
*Strong network troubleshooting skills
*Strong network management experience
*Strong verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
*Experience working for ISP or managed service provider.
*Good presentation skills preferred
*CCNA/CCNP strongly preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
-HS Diploma or equivalent plus identified experience
