Roles/Responsibilities (5 – 8 day to day candidate’s responsibilities)

ontribute to and assist in implementing improvements in test methods and
strategies

₋ Create test plans and test cases as they relate to testing User Stories
to ensure the overall quality of software delivered

₋ Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure solutions
are free from defects

₋ Create requirement/test case relationship using ALM/Quality Center
(traceability)

₋ Develop technical system use cases to support testing of data integration
processes for marketing datawarehouse

₋ Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the
Software Development Lifecycle

₋ Ensure alignment of quality / test plans to business request

₋ Establish and maintain test cases and test data

₋ Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group
meetings for quality assurance

₋ Participate in production implementation verification and being
accountable for validating data quality

₋ Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and
enhancements that may impact data, workflow and/or functionality within
Information Technology software

₋ Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow
strategies, plans and procedures within information technology software

₋ Recommend regression test efforts around project code changes

₋ Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative
approaches/technology and present them for review

₋ Support existing applications and identify defects

₋ Identify and implement QA standards and procedures

₋ Be a key component/driver in the success of enterprise information
management


Required Qualifications (5 – 8 bullet points on must have skills)

₋ 5+ years of Quality Assurance / Testing experience

₋ 5+ years of experience working with data, data analysis and SQL
(Structured Query Language)

₋ 3+ years of working with ETL tools like Informatica, DMExpress, AbInitio.

₋ 3+ years of working on Linux/Unix platform and working with ksh scripts.

₋ Experience with Quality Assurance testing tools

₋ Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team
environment

₋ Able to communicate issues in a clear and articulate fashion while
showing creativity and innovation in presenting ideas
