Hire will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler, has strong experience with SAP, and ETL tools like Alteryx. Experience with SAP business intelligence tools, like Spinifex, is strongly preferred.
Proven experience building and validating data models
- Create reports including ad hoc request and enterprise reports to support business requirements
- Convert ideas and business needs into meaningful report designs and data requirements
- Apply predictive analytics to provide customer level reporting
- Work with different business units to understand reporting needs; translate business needs into relatable reporting
- Create and maintain Business Intelligence Dashboards, Reports, Analytic processes, Key Performance Indicators and reports for all business units
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions
- Proactively manage report development to meet expectations of format and delivery timeframe
- Streamline and automate existing reporting and processes
- Develop strong knowledge of how our company operates, including how we sell and compensate our sales team
- Develop and implement BI solutions that support the monitoring of data quality and integrity
- Prepare and maintain BI reporting and analysis documentations
- Provide recommendations to enhance BI system performance and capacity
Skills/Expectations:
- Experience designing and developing dashboards and reporting metrics using business intelligence software like Web Intelligence, Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Experience supporting Operations, as well as Marketing & Sales groups
- Ability to write queries using SQL to extract and manipulate data to achieve desired results using select statements, sub-queries, functions, links of multiple tables, scripting, etc.
- Understanding of data visualization best practices to effectively display quantitative and qualitative data
- Experience and understanding Data Modeling to support Analytic needs
- Ability to understand business questions and translate that business question into analytics
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Manage competing deadlines as well as variances in schedules and resources

Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (Finance, Economics, Statistical Analysis)
- 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data modeling & reporting using BI software
- Advanced skills in Web Intelligence, Power BI/Tableau
- Strong Excel experience (pivot tables, look-ups, advanced formulas, regressions, etc.)
- Ability to understand and create SQL queries for data manipulation, data extraction, analysis
- Strong understanding of extractions, transformations, loading (ETL) and online analytical processing (OLAP)
- Proficient in Data Analysis & Data validation
- Familiarity with financial analysis preferred
