8+ years of overall software engineering experience focused on back-end systems, services or data pipelines
3+ years as a SDET
Expert knowledge of Java 11+ and Scala. Basic JS knowledge is a plus
Extensive hands-on experience developing unit, functional, integration, performance and data consistency tests as a part of main code base working side by side with software engineers using common testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Gatling, JUnit, Selenium)
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with NoSQL (e.g. Mongo, Cassandra), Kafka, search engines (e.g. Solr, Elastic) and cache (e.g. Redis, Infinispan). Ability to write complex SQL queries and joins, Mongo queries including aggregations, Cassandra CQL queries, Kafka consumers
Strong understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation role in them; monitoring, alerting, and production logs debugging. Ability to do production issues debugging using logs (e.g. Splunk) resources monitoring (e.g. AppDynamics), data sources and knowledge of the application business logic
Strong sense of ownership and being personally accountable and responsible for the project quality, collaboration skills, system thinking and ability to clearly explain complex concepts
