JD :- 

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of MySQL databases. Other responsibilities include backups, and creation of database instances, configure/maintenance of MySQL database replication. Furthermore, the candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of Oracle database. The position requires Oracle administrative activities including table space, user account creation/management, performance analysis/resolution. The candidate should possess analytical and troubleshooting skills 

Responsibility: 

·        Perform common database operations including installation, backup, restore, recovery, schema changes 

·        Ensure performance, availability of databases 

·        Configure database replication 

·        Communicate/collaborate with team members on database related issue 

Skills: 

·        Proficiency in MySQL and Oracle database management 

·        Understanding of MySQL and Oracle storage engine, 

·        Experience with MySQL replication configuration 

·        Experience with Oracle replication configuration 

·        Proficiency in using Oracle Goldengate software.   

·        Familiarity with MySQL and Oracle stored procedure, stored function, triggers 

·        Ability to create table space, add/alter datafiles/redo logs 

·        Knowledge of Python, Shell, Perl and Linux development/test environment
