- Advanced tuning and performance skills
- Handle tickets that are escalated from Level 2 team along with regular tickets falls under DBA team queue
- Install, upgrade, and manage database applications
- Troubleshooting Database Cluster, Node eviction & Replication related issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
- Performance Tuning, SQL Profiling, Baseline Creation & SQL Query tuning
- Hands-on experience with oracle versions like (10g,11g,12c) to latest version(19c & 20c)
- Patching all RAC Oracle databases with latest PSU
- Debug patching issues and provide resolution
- Work with Oracle Support for issues that require vendor involvement
- Knowledge on Oracle Enterprise Manager to configure alerts, Monitoring, Performance tuning, Patching, etc.
- RAC & Dataguard configuration as per the Application requirement
- Performing RMAN refresh for huge size databases
- Implementing database Point in Time Recovery whenever data corruption identified
- Assist application support team to help debug application performance issues
- Handling Disaster Recovery Test
- Knowledge & hands-on experience with Exadata databases
- Create automation for repeating database tasks
