seeking a Software Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA. The individual would join an agile software engineer team responsible for building scalable software applications across all digital channels to serve our customers. Responsible for taking an enterprise-wide, architectural view of the solutions and the technical execution of products using the technical stack that best meets the needs of the platform. The team will be involved in every aspect at part of the software application build process from idea generation, business analysis, technical design and software development using the latest technologies and design patterns. Team works in a 2 week sprint cadence and we launch to production at the end of the sprint.
Must have Angular 7 and Java experience.
Per DoD and Client Requirement, all candidates must have the following work authorization: USC or Green Card
Will work remotely.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for working closely with UX (User Experience) to ensure that the development of the features are following the defined wireframes/specs.
- Responsible for working with the Business Analysts to ensure the understanding of the stories that they are assigned to develop.
- Work with the Quality Assurance team if there are issues found when QA is testing the code/stories. Responsible for working
- Setup configurations for APP consumption of development efforts
- Responsible for actively participating in all Scrum Ceremonies
- Conducting code reviews to ensure that all development is following the standards and best practices that have been set forth by the Consulting – Architecture leads
- Develop in Angular 9 code base and is to be done in such a way that the components are consumable for either the WEB channel (S/M/L/XL viewports) or the APP.
- Coding is to be done for BOTH web /app.
- Developer is responsible for Technical Checkout once launched to production – any issues identified MUST be fixed same day.
- Participate and DEMO during Sprint Review sessions
Qualifications
- Java
- 4 year Degree
- Software Engineer with strength in Development
- Angular 7 or above
- Previous experience working in an Agile Environment
- Knowledge of Oracle Database, Google Firestore, and CHDB
